Term 3 is looking like another busy term for Stage 3! Our dance program, 'Footsteps' has begun and all students had a fun afternoon dancing in the hall on Thursday. The program will focus on learning dances for our end of year production. Year 10 sport will also begin on Fridays where year 10 students from Kiama High School mentor and teach Kiama Public School students different sports over the term. Our HSIE unit this term is 'Global Connections'. We will be looking at how Australia is connected to other countries throughout the world through trade, tourism, communication and technology. All stage 3 students will undertake a research project on a global aid organisation and will present this in week 5 with a newspaper style article. Then in week 9 students will 'advertise' their aid agency in the form of a whole year group presentation afternoon. SEE ABOVE FOR OUR TERM 3 PROJECT SUMMARY. All students will continue to work on their environmental education with time in the garden and through the science unit 'Earth's Place in Space'.
